Well, I dont think so, at least, William did you set any kind of max limit?
Coz, I will have to use that Skip System soon for about 3 weeks.
As is says on the site:
Kick limit
The kick limit kicks a player from your game and replaces then with AI once they’ve been skipped the number of times you specify. It’s intended so that if a player is really holding your game up, they’ll be removed.
Folks, I think, even without stopping the game, it would be OK. Since anyhow we are only talking about 3-5 turns, so if I would use queues in my cities and science tree everything would be fine, for me at least.
I vote we try stopping it. Last time, when I beat Moby, Haktom, Kerris and William it was good to know that I kicked thier arses and not the AI. If by September we still haven’t made 100 turns we might want to consider speeding it up. Anyway, what’s the rush? We have Moby’s 50th birthday party to look forward to soon.
It was asked if a skip timer is set or not in this thread, but not if we want to use it in general or not.
Consider the new setting as a sign to keep the game pace high please. Any player who can`t make his turn
just need to make a post and i change the turn timer so he will have no problem.
Ok?
Please don’t panic. Had a chat with the guys tonight, I have been away which is why the turns have been missed. (This wouldn’t have happened if I could have been the English ;))
This is all new to me, wasn’t even aware of the options. I shall make a point of letting Willi know if I am absent, but I’ve had my holidays now O0
Lets everybody stop panicking, you’ll need your wits about you when I pick your nation to slaughter.
I thought that the timer meant they lose their turn, or the AI takes it for them? If that’s the case, what’s the problem?
Tom
yes the AI takes over. In the beginning this is no big deal. But later on… i would not trust the AI, especially on diplomatic or unit movement decisions
