although I owned the whole continent, I only had 2 Uranium resources (one of them I had to use a General to get it into my borders) and 1 node of coal

on the other hand, i would not vote for banning world the world leader vote. every player has the opportunity to counter that. next time just grep the one more city so that there is no combined vote (36 ) possible, instead of celebrating the nuklear festival

Sadly I was one turn too late for the sneak attack on Mekka - all pieces fell into place so perfectly 
spy setting up surveillance network, carrier arrives, threat posted on forum to justify the strike
