Japan is not a bad choice Tom. They are hard to beat.

As a beginner i would take Russia or Spain. But Shoshone do not have any handicaps and their units fighting better in their own territory.

Moby, Flashheart chose ‚England‘ first. Because of this and the fact that you are a certified noodle maker I get to pick your civ for you. Moby, for this game you will play as…France. Good luck with that. :baeh:

I spoke to Moby. it is quite simple. he doesn’t want to play another game with an English civ in it unless he is England. He’ll play if there is no England in the game (that includes him not taking Eng) Flash, are you willing to pick another civ and then Moby will too? The problem being that in the last game we found England ( played by me) was too powerful.
Moby also said he’s not too bothered so if you don’t want to pick another one he’s ok with that. I’d like as many people as possible in the game, especially Moby as I enjoy making him cry.
sorry, but i have to admit that moby announced playing England multiple times here in the forums, and as first in this thread (as we always did in previous games here!) and flashheart just picked it, so i guess its flashhearts turn to rechoose.
if this fails to organize, i will happily decline my presence in this game too, me and moby will just open another one
